When we started, over two years ago, we got some pretty good deals from restaurants, charging us "around R100 or R115" per person, plus tip.

Two years later, prices have gone up.  When you also consider that we are getting free wine (the restaurants don't/rarely charge us anything for that) for what we're paying, we're getting some pretty solid deals.

A good meal (with starters and dessert, like we get at GeekDinners) at a good restaurant, including drinks, will come to over R200, depending on the restaurant, and how much you drink.

You *can* get a plain burger for R40, but you have to go to Spur for that.
