Tania, did you write that? I struggle to believe that you of all people
would lose control of their grammar to that extent ;-)

Take the first sentence in the background:

"Traditionally, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) experts told Web site
owners that what they needed in order to market themselves on the
Internet, was to have a Web site but in most cases, a complete fallacy,
as search engines like Googles constantly adjust their search algorithms
in order to compensate for the fact that people try to cheat the system."

- There's an erroneous comma after "Internet"
- "Web" should probably not be capitalised
- you're missing a verb clause in the middle of "most cases, a complete
fallacy"
- "Googles" isn't plural

Apart from that, the general gist seems fine, although I think some
points could be expanded. Could we not use some excerpts from Dave
Duarte's original talk - the one about Stormhoek that started everything
off? Do you want me to get hold of him and ask if we can have some
quotes or a brief from him?

Some other minor points, though:
- Maybe stick to "GeekDinner" (one word) instead of "Geek Dinner", to
keep it standard?
- You say that the wine sponsor is "always" given an opportunity to
speak at a GeekDinner... We've only done this once, and that was
because GetWine are an internet-based company, thus making them relevant
to the dinners. We don't want to sit through ten minutes of marketing
drivel just because somebody has given us some wine...
- the google search link you provide doesn't actually yield anything
very convincing, maybe try one of these?

Thanks!
